The Legend of Fred

In the summer of '94, Fred wasn't a water park mogul—he was an average guy who got abducted by extraterrestrials while camping in North Carolina. During the encounter, the aliens extracted his frontal lobe and replaced it with a technologically advanced prosthetic.

This cybernetic brain upgrade gave Fred superhuman engineering skills, but with one bizarre side effect: his eyes and brain can now only process and interact with purple water. Clear water is completely invisible to him!

Determined to swim again, Fred teamed up with his long-time workout partner, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Together, they engineered a secret, safe violet formula that turned ordinary H2O into the glowing purple liquid that flows through Flabernackles today. While The Rock provided the muscle and Fred provided the alien-tech blueprints for the slides.
